On 18th November 2022, the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) released the draft new digital personal data protection bill, 2022. In the draft bill, the government has given directions for data protection, compliances, penalties, and dos & don’ts for companies and end users. Over the same, the government is taking public comments until December 17, 2022. Whitewater has prepared the summary document over the same.
